"The Pattern, Timeline, and Violation tool has been very insightful. This is what I was looking for to help prepare for my attorney and hopefully save resources on that front."

Everything You Need for Your Custody Case

From raw documents to court-ready outlines — for initial divorces and modification cases alike

Smart Document Ingestion

Upload PDFs, images, emails, DOCX files, and more. Built-in OCR handles scanned documents and screenshots automatically.

Judgment Parser & Key Issues

For modification cases, AI parses your custody order into structured obligations. For initial divorces, define key issues manually or let AI suggest them from your documents.

Timeline Builder

Automatically extracts dated events from all documents and builds a chronological timeline with category filters.

Violation & Evidence Detection

For modifications, compares evidence against obligations to find violations. For initial cases, finds supporting evidence for your key custody issues.

Pattern & Theme Analysis

Groups findings into recurring patterns or key themes with frequency counts and evidence strength ratings.

Professional Outline Export

Generates a formatted .docx outline — mediation prep for modifications or initial case preparation for new divorces — with executive summary, analysis, and evidence index.

macOS Installation

First time opening CustodyCase.ai on a Mac? Follow these steps.

If you see "app is damaged and can't be opened"

This is a standard macOS security message for apps downloaded outside the App Store. The app is not damaged — macOS adds a quarantine flag to all downloads that needs to be cleared.

Fix (takes 10 seconds):

  1. Open Terminal (search "Terminal" in Spotlight, or find it in Applications → Utilities)
  2. Paste this command and press Enter:
xattr -cr ~/Downloads/CustodyCase.ai.app

If you moved the app to Applications first, use: xattr -cr /Applications/CustodyCase.ai.app

  1. Enter your Mac password if prompted
  2. Double-click the app — it will open normally from now on

This only needs to be done once. Works on all Mac models including M1, M2, M3, and M4.

If you see "app can't be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software"

Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to the CustodyCase.ai message. If the button doesn't appear, run the Terminal command above first.
